"They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. What then are we to think of it when the gods themselves steal our ideas on how the universe should work? Can we complain when they turn reality into a game? Can we get a refund on life itself? The gods claim they answered our prayers. That they built this world with us in mind. That they brought us here for our own sake. Maybe they did. Personally I think they have their own reasons. We're not the players in this game, we're the pieces on the board.

Still... What if it's fun?"

Axiom of Infinity follows the story of several travelers from Earth as they attempt to make new lives for themselves in a world with monsters and dungeons, where RPG mechanics are as innate as the laws of physics, and where the gods themselves seem to be playing a very different game–one with unknown stakes and strange alliances. Blessed by two gods and cursed by another, one man finds himself at the center of their machinations, a pawn destined to become a queen.

This is a LitRPG Novel built on a hard system with a lot of depth and customization, but which tries not to beat you over the head with numbers constantly. In this world finding and reporting bugs and exploits is both encouraged and rewarded, and the gods have found the most qualified testers in the multiverse: Us. Now the unsuspecting natives of Astra are going to have to learn to live with a bunch of min-maxing, power-gaming, spreadsheet slinging nerds and gamers of all shapes and sizes as we do what we do best... break things.

Very engaging. It can be a slight off-putting that there is a lot of explanation (such as a large portion of chapter 15), but the main story gets you deeply invested and rooted into the character. The quality is extremely good and well-written. Give this book a chance because the story gets very good after the long introduction.

Deliciously crunchy Litrpg with bug-hunting body swapping MC. I'm too lazy to write a review properly expressing how much I like this story so far. Solid premise. With complex themes being handled very well. Imersivly written with a unique powerset in a world positioned to let it shine. The main character is litterally trying to break the system in the first chapters, and kindve succeeding multiple times. The Adversary is such a cool dude, not to mention Valera. Looking forward to what both of them have in store. This story is a cut above, and has some serious potential once our plot gets moving. Looking forward to more. Go read the review about munchkin fun, that guys got it right.

This novel has a very strong premise behind it that I feel the author is doing a good job of exploring, and the representation of being in a body that is not your own adds a layer of complexity to the base that I think adds a lot. However, the pacing feels like it drags slightly in parts of some chapters, not to an extreme detriment but enough that I'm not absorbed as I am reading the remainder of the chapter. I also think the chapters that go over Tristan and Corona's adventures are somewhat weak compared to Tavi's adventure so far and I believe contain the majority of parts that I think drag in pacing.

Definitely on my follow list and I'm very much looking to see how the story progresses in the long term, I think it's more likely to get even better later on.

I served as beta reader for this, so I've finished the whole of this first book. Excellent writing, kept me interested the whole way through. The system the gods create in this is really interesting, and there's fun exploits that the MC discovers during their time which add unique twists to the story that I haven't seen before in a story. Absolutely worth reading, and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Buckle up, info dump is real!

Reviewed at: Chapter 26: Styx & Stones

There are some aspects of this novel that can really be difficult for the reader.

First thing, this story has a very mature vibe. If you frown at nudity or girl biology issues, if you want to be held by the hand with an author that repeat the same thing after a few chapter, if you dislike complex game mechanics and world-building, if you want a light story that you can read half awake... This one might not be the best for you.

And more importantly if you want a fast paced story, flee! The pace of this story is slowed down to a crawl by a constant high amount of complex info dumped on the reader. May it be the world-building, the game mechanic, the personal and emotional conflict and some change of point of view to slow things even more. This novel is thick with info. It made me struggle sometimes.

On the positive side there is no info dumped on the reader that is abusive or boring. Everything click. Everything is thought through. There are hints and foreshadowing as well as foreshadowing hidden behind foreshadowing.

Even when i was annoyed by the massive level of the info dump i couldn't blame the author because everything is welcome. Partly because the info make sense, partly because the story stay immersive even when a wagonload of info arrive when you had just finished a truck. I hope that the author will find way to dilute the info more in the future but it's still acceptable as is.

Style is great with the mature vibe and the ability of the author to not delve too far into politics, they do not shy from bleak scene but never devolve into grimdark, they do not shy from sexual desires and nudity but never let it devolve into porn, they do not shy from evil and good but masterfully depict things in shades of grey. The gender bender side of the story click well with the overall situation of the MC and the chaotic emotional state is well described. On top of everything there is a comedic aspect and humor, well balanced with the rest, that work for me, even made me cackle a few times. The style is masterpiece level.

Story is nice so far with the classic mass isekai as the core but with a clear personal take on it. There are gods and a System. At first seeing the gods made me expect the worst but the story really find an extraordinary angle on it and it's been awesome, completely flipping my expectations upside down. No bigotry.

A downside of the story is how easily the MC make findings to get extra credits and rewards from the gods but the rewards as well as the System overall are really nicely done, varied and interesting so it's OK. But as a result of constantly receiving a variety of rewards the MC never stop analyzing more things and it's one of the reasons why the info dump is overall so massive.

On the side of the plots i will only say that so far it's immersive but it's a bit too soon to really say where all this is going. I can only say it feels good and it feels promising. The author is in control of the story and i follow.

Grammar is flawless. Vocabulary is rich but do not stray too far from the basics so it stays perfectly understandable for me who is not totally fluent. Choice of words is always good.

Lastly the Characters are well made, like the rest there is depth. The PoV with Tristan and Corona was just an excuse for more info dump at first but things are getting interesting even on their side both in term of immersion and character depth. How well made are the characters is what can get me hooked with a story. I will only say that i tried the story not liking the first chapter that involved gods and weird stuff and then a few days later i end up having binged the whole story and even went donating a coffee to the author on patreon for their work.

The release schedule is once a week but the chapters are long. So it's on par with novels that release 3-4 small chapters a week. Commendable for the overall quality. Honestly i prefer it this way.

Got that one added in my favorite list. It's not for everyone but i recommend this novel.

This is shaping up to be a rare treat

The story itself so far seems to be heading up in a good direction , the worldbuilding is shaping up to be great, the characters so far are interesting and the protagonist appears to have a brain.

But that only makes it another good start on this site , what make this great and shows potential is the level of thougth and detail put into the system. It has been a while since i read a story with a power system that is consistently consistent , if not actually balanced, and this one shows promise.

That Story is absolut amacing.

Perfect writing, so that you really can easy dive into the Story and the Characters.

Highly immersive because of that good Story telling.

Nice long chapters, so you have no Problems to keep reading eaven If only 1 new chapter is out.

Also the sexual assault / abusive Stuff /sensitive Stuff until now are Not Overbord until now and it fits the Story perfectly. We have enough really bad Stuff in our world. I dont have to read about that extremes in Fantasy Stories, the real world is enough. The Autor does a really good Job with that too.

The Characters and actions feel extremely Natural.

But please be aware:

The cliffhangers can be crual!!

This is an absolutely amazing book. I'm only up to chapter 15 yet I already dread the fact that there's only 21 chapters. There an incredible amount of detail and foreshadowing that keeps me interested in this fantastic story. My only issue with this story is that the side chapters are a little dull and feel like info dumps. can't wait to see how it plays out.

The novel just started, so take my review with a grain of salt and be aware that it can change or be proven wrong.

Now onto the novel. So far the mc is likeable and has a lot of potential, is funny and seems to have a personality and not a plain isekai personality starter kit.

The system which has been explained in good detail (without being boring or endless exposition) is coherent and seems promising with interesting synergies that make you powerful without breaking rules.

Personally, I really like that you have been shown low-key what the high levels look like without making it obvious in Sam's store.

To sum up, the novel is looking good, but who knows how it will end?

I'm practically drooling for another chapter to come out. Great system, just the perfect amount of crunch, and the bug reporting might be my favorite thing in the story. I also love the gods, they add so much flavor.

The Tristan chapters are also excellent for getting that extra POV that really shows how horrifying the events happening are from an outsider's view.
